QUALIFICATIONS: Essential : (i) ) Second class Masters’ Degree in Physics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer
Sciience/ Forensic Science or a Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering/ Technology in Computer Science/
InformationTechnology or Master in Computer Application or Bachelors’ Degree in Statistics or equivalent. (ii)
Seven years experience of analytical methods and research of which five years experience in Software
Development/ System Analysis.
Desirable: Working experience in a Forensic Science Laboratory recognized by Government.
AGE: Not more than 40 years on 01.01.2011, relaxable for the candidates having higher qualifications and / or
longer experience than those prescribed and for persons holding substantive appointment under the Government
of West Bengal.
