RECRUITMENT FOR RESERVATION COMMUNITIES ON NCA VACANCIES (DISTRICTWIDE)
SECOND NCA NOTIFICATION
Applications with latest Photo uploaded are invited online only from qualified candidates belonging to
reservation group of communities of Kerala State viz. Scheduled Caste and Latin Catholic for the under mentioned
post.

Note: -
i) Conventional type applications will be summarily rejected. Candidates shall apply
online only on the Kerala Public Service Commission website www.keralapsc.org.
ii) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those notified
will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued.
iii) Separate ranked list will be prepared for Kannur district in pursuance of this notification. Ranked list
thus prepared and published by the commission shall remain in force until candidates are advised
and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above community, but remain unfilled
due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post in the
following district.

iv) Applications should be sent to Kannur District where the vacancy is existing for their respective community
and should note the name of that district against the relevant column of the online application.
v) The selection in pursuance of the notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject
to the special conditions laid down in GO (Ms) No.154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. A candidate
advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible
for transfer to another district unless he/she completes 5 years continuous service from the
date of commencement of service in the former district . Even if transfer is allowed after fiveyears, it will be subject to the rules in GO(MS) No.4/61/PD dated, 2.1.1961. Candidates already in
Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they
can apply to higher posts when notified
5. Method of appointment Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to Sc, and LC communities
only) [ In the absence of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste
community, candidates belonging to scheduled tribe will be considered ]
6. Age Limit 1) 18-42. Only candidates born between 02.01.1969 and 01.01.1993
(both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post in the case of
Latin Catholic community.
2) 18-44. Only candidates born between 02.01.1967 and 01.01.1993
(both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post in the case of
Scheduled caste candidates. (Including the age relaxation as per
Para 2(1) of General conditions)
Note:- For conditions regarding other age relaxation please see para 2 of the general conditions. Except Para 2(1).
7. Qualifications:
A Degree in Urdu and B.Ed /B.T/L.T conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala
OR
A Title of oriental learning in Urdu awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala
(if such title has been declared as equivalent to Part III of Degree) and Certificate in
Language Teachers Training issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala.
Note:-
i. Candidates possessing Post Graduate Degree in Urdu are also eligible to apply for the post provided they
have the required training qualification [G.O.(M.S) 177/87/G.Edn. Dated 22.8.1987].
ii. B.Ed should also be in the concerned Language.
8. SPEICAL CONCESSIONS REGARDING APPOINTMENT AND AGE LIMIT
i. Preference will be given as laid down in G.O(MS) No.50/70/PD dated 12.2.70 and G.O(MS)
No.9/78/G.Edn. Dated 21.1.78 to the wives of Jawans in the matter of recruitment as Teachers, if they
possess the prescribed qualifications. Soldiers in active service and those working in Base establishment are
included under the terms of Jawans, Wives of Jawans should note in the application that they are wives of
Jawans. Such candidates should obtain proper certificates from the Officer commanding stating the name,
Military rank and Military address of their husbands and produce the same as and when required by the
Commission (G.O(MS)No.509/64/Edn. Dated 19.9.1964, G.O (MS)No.614/65/Edn. Dated 09.11.65 and G.O
(MS) No.243/66/Edn. Dated 27.5.66). Such facts should be noted in the space provided for in the on-line
application form.
ii. First Class Scouts and Guides will be given preference in the matter of appointment as Teachers G.O(MS)
No.122/75/G.Edn. Dated 27.05.1975 and GO (MS) No.50/70/PD dated 12.02.1970)
iii. Teachers of the Government primary and nursery schools who are graduates and are otherwise qualified will
be exempted from upper age limit (G.O (MS)No.185/70/Edn. Dated 18/4.1970 and G.O.Ms.No.466/70/Edn.
Dated 11.11.1970). They should produce proper certificates from authorities concerned, as and when
required by the commission.
Note :- The candidates who claim concessions by virtue of any of the above reason should state “Are you eligible for
age relaxation as “yes” on the online application and give details in the space following. Otherwise the applications
are liable to be rejected presuming that they are over aged candidates. Upper age limit after allowing the relaxation as
per rule should not exceed 50 years of age. (See para 2 of General Conditions)

9. Mode of sending applications:
Candidates shall submit application with Photo uploaded online only in the website of the Kerala Public
Service Commission viz. http://www.keralapsc.org. No application fee is required. The candidates applying through on-line
should keep the print out (Receipt) of their applications and the barcode number shall be quoted in all further
enquiries/correspondence. Documents to prove qualifications, age and community etc have to be produced as and
when called for. Applications which are submitted not in accordance with the instructions given in the website will be
summarily rejected.
10. Last date for receipt of applications : 28/09/2011 Wednesday upto 12 midnight

12. If a written test/OMR test is conducted as part of the selection, Hall Ticket of eligible candidates will be made
available in the website of the Kerala Public Service Commission. Candidates are instructed to download
their Hall ticket as per the instructions in the website.
13. At the time of Examination, Physical Efficiency Tests Practical test, interview, etc candidates shall produce
their photo affixed ID proof in original and self attested copy of (Voters Identity Card, Driving Licence,
Passport, Identity cards issued by Social Welfare Department to Physically Handicapped Candidates, Photo
affixed pass book issued by Nationalized Banks, PAN Card, Identity Cards issued to Government Employees
by the concerned Departments) along with Hall Tickets.
